Digital-Gen supports lawful, transparent processing under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act and access rights under PAIA.
Responsible party
The relevant merchant is ordinarily responsible for its customer information. Digital-Gen acts as operator for hosted platform functions and as responsible party for its own client and platform administration.
Privacy requests
Email support@digital-gen.co.za with your name, the relevant business or store, the right you wish to exercise and enough information to verify the request safely.
PAIA requests
Submit the prescribed PAIA Form 2 to the relevant Information Officer or head of the private body. Identify the requested record, provide proof of identity where required, explain the right being exercised or protected, and state the preferred access method. Prescribed fees may apply where permitted.
Complaints
You may raise a concern with Digital-Gen first and may also contact the Information Regulator (South Africa) through its official channels.
